The swimming pool on the tenth floor was designed by architect Gio Pontispecifically for the Neapolitan hotel. Putting it on the rooftop, Ponti wanted to create an ideal dialog between architecture and nature (with the Castel dell'Ovo to the south and the hill of Pizzofalcone to the north). Enclosed on three sides by low walls, this screens seem intended to isolate the whole space of roof from outside. The only view they leave open is the vista of the peninsula of Sorrento, as well, naturally, as a view of the sky, of infinity. As backdrop a singular view of the hill of Pizzofalcone to the Neo-Gothic of Villa Ebe by Lamont Young. The project was published on the cover of Domus 291 in 1954 with the titel: "A roof top pool". Its irregular form looked more like a pool on a patio than a swimming pool rigidly related to a geometry.

The restaurant 'al Castello'is spacious and elegant and characterized by large windows overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Extensive modular space lets to accommodate 550 guests. A speciale place to suggest to all those people who are looking for an extraordinary panorama of the Island of Capri in the background and the waves of the sea as soundtrack.
